तो जूतों की जगह
पैरों में
सड़कें पहन ली
एक नहीं दो नहीं बदल बदलकर
हजारों सड़कें
तंग ऊबड़ खाबड़
बहुत चौड़ी सड़कें।
खूब चलें
कि ज़िन्दगी के नजदीक आने को
बहुत मन होता है
वाकई ! ज़िन्दगी से होती हुई
कोई सड़क जरूर जाती होगी-
मैं कोई ऐसा जूता बनवाना चाहता हूँ
जो मेरे पैरों में ठीक-ठाक आए।
