Asa’s story begins with bold reforms—tearing down idols, commanding his people to seek the Lord, and restoring faith at the national level. As a result, Judah experiences a rare season of peace.
But Asa's true test comes when an overwhelming Ethiopian army invades. Instead of panicking, Asa turns to God in humble prayer. The victory that follows isn’t credited to strategy or numbers—but to faith in divine power.
What does this teach us today? That good leadership begins with godliness, that peace is worth preparing for, and that God still responds to sincere prayer—especially when the odds are against us.
