Frances McDormand is a highly decorated American actress and producer whose career has flourished for more than forty years. She is a rare recipient of the Triple Crown of Acting, having secured Academy, Emmy, and Tony Awards for her various performances on screen and stage. She is perhaps best known for her long-standing creative partnership with the Coen brothers, winning her first Oscar for her role in their film Fargo. Beyond her acting prowess, she made history by winning Best Actress and Best Picture simultaneously for her work on Nomadland.
