This week's episode features Karlee sharing the birth of her daughter, Imogen.
Knowing that she and her husband would only have one child, Karlee embodied deep gratitude and presence throughout her journey of creation.
Living a spiritual and holistic lifestyle, she innately knew she needed to birth in the safety and comfort of her own home.
When her surges began, she was awed by how rapidly they intensified, but the work she did in the lead up to her birth provided her with the mental strength she needed to ride the waves of labour in her power.
As the pressure quickly built, a suggestion from her midwife helped her find the perfect place to birth; using gravity as a tool to help her baby descend.
Karlee shares her challenges during the third stage and what she learned about an old Italian wives tale while cooking eggplant.
