Today’s episode features the three births of Gold Coast mother, Tammy. Although her first birth, in the hospital, was a drug-free physiological birth, she details being left with hints of birth trauma from the sheer intensity of it. She took what she learned from that birth into her second, where her son made a speedy entrance earthside at home. Her final birth was the peak of her birth wisdom, after having a moment of awakening when she ultimately let go of every ounce of control and experienced the truest form of surrender.
Tammy shares the plan moving forward once meconium was discovered in her leaking waters, and how one comment by a midwife at the hospital planted the seed of confidence in her to birth her future babies at home.
