“How many of you saw psychiatric help on the way to recovery? I should see a lot more hands. Yeah, a lot of times you were behind glass. I understand. We’ve spent thousands of dollars for examinations. How many of you have spent a little maybe it wasn’t your money but somebody’s money? So before I go any further did you tell them the whole truth? No. Did you follow their advice? No. We know but few instances where we’ve given these doctors a fair break. We’ve seldom told them the whole truth nor have we followed their advice. And I call that to your attention because we miss the value of testimony.”
