Joe emphasizes that the problem isn’t necessarily ourselves or our thinking but rather the fear that drives it. “So then it says we’ve not even sworn off, instead the problem has been removed. So what’s the problem? I’ve heard people say it’s me, but that’s not really it. I mean, if that’s your answer now, fine, but it’s never been me—it’s been my thinking. And my thinking by itself isn’t a problem; it’s when it’s driven by fear that it’s a problem. So what’s been removed is my fear so that I can see clearly what it is I’m being sent to do.”
