Joe reflects, “Selfish and inconsiderate habits have kept the home in turmoil. We don’t know it when we’re in it, do we? You ever notice that when you look back on your addiction and think about how you were behaving, you don’t even realize how nutty it was until you see somebody else doing it to you. And it’s maddening, isn’t it? And sometimes, like they said, sweet relationships are dead.”
