“Yes, I need to demonstrate where I was at so that I can testify to you about the redemption that’s been wrought. The type of redemption that’s in my sister sitting over there with a little bit of time sober after so long with none. That’s what we’re talking about.”
Wayne highlights that in nearly all cases, the ideals necessary to recreate a life must be grounded in a power greater than oneself. This session also hints at the upcoming exploration of Step 2, where embracing that higher power becomes key to lasting recovery.
