“If sex is very troublesome, we throw ourselves the harder into helping others. We think of their needs and work for them. This takes us out of ourselves. It quiets the imperious urge when to yield would mean heartache. Guys, whether it’s sex, jobs, or any relationship, if you are struggling and can’t get out of it, go find someone to help. I guarantee you will at least get a reprieve from your own condemnation when you’re using your experience to help another.”
