“The feeling that the drink problem had disappeared will often come strongly. How many of you had that experience? I unburdened myself. How many of you found that although it disappeared, it reappeared? So it’s a promise and a warning. I got to stay in the manner of living. This wasn’t about unburdening me. It was about the salvation of the world. Does that make sense? I’m going to do this for you because you’re ideally suited to carry the message I want you to carry, but I want you to carry it.”
