“Main problem centers in the mind, right? And so one of the things that you cannot do as a human but we still desperately want to believe we can is we can’t think our way into a state of being. Beingness is absent self. My being knows I’m part of a greater whole. That’s why when you experience the power, I can tell you I felt it too. But I can’t do that when I’m aware of me; I can only do that when I’m aware of him. So the fact is I can’t do it at all. Does that make sense? And if you don’t believe me, think about the most selfless, humble thing you ever did.”
