“We are people as a class who have spent thousands of dollars for informed medical opinions, lied to get those opinions, and ignored the results of those opinions. So you’re not going to impress me with your opinion of my lifestyle; it’s just not going to happen. But if you’re living an example I wished I could live, I’m liable to pay attention. Does that make sense? So it says, unwilling to be honest with these sympathetic men, we were honest with no one else.”
