“And he bore witness in such a way my mind couldn’t keep up but my spirit was leaping. And I knew if that man could tell me what he was telling me that I’d never be the same. And I asked him to, and he did, and I haven’t spent a lot of years ago. Talked to you a little bit about him a few weeks ago. I told you I asked him if he ever went back to that detox where he found me. Many months later, he said, ‘I’ve never been back there. I’ve never seen the guy that asked me to go again. God sent me there for you, Joe.’”
