Lance thinks the WNBA is going to continue to grow based on an assumption WNBA players are more relatable than their NBA counterparts.  Matt isn't on board with that idea just yet.  What will make the WNBA more successful?  Sexier players? More midwestern white girls?  Whatever the case, it appears more people can find something in the WNBA to fan over.

The "Pieces" discuss what it means to be a good person.  Matt wonders if he's a good person because people tell him he's a "Good guy."  Lance wonders if he's a good person because he's known for "Telling it like it is" or "Saying what needs to be said."  

The "Pieces" have a free flowing conversation like they used to do on the pod.  Lance turns it serious and dark.  Matt says, "Chill L, all I want to do is surf."

The "Pieces" discuss the consequences of Trump's haphazard tariff plan.  What new risks do we face with Trump waving his tariff dildo in everyone's face?  Is the US becoming a rapidly declining world power?  

Political frustration leads to a doom narrative by Lance.  Matt pretends he doesn't care but somehow he has a lot to say.  These "Pieces" are inching towards thoughtful dialogue but as long as they keep referring to themselves as "Pieces of Sh%$" how can anyone hold them accountable for what they say?

Police officers make mistakes but do enough Americans acknowledge how challenging it is to be a cop? 

The "Pieces" try to figure out why the entertainment industry is producing more sexually graphic, violent and dark content for television.   Is this what people actually want?  Or, is exaggerated content just table stakes now given what people are consuming on the internet and in social media?

Pointing out hypocrisy is no longer interestiing but "The Pieces" do it anyway.  They discuss hypocrisy in big business and in themselves.  Are the liberals actually on to something?  Is the answer to all of our economic problems locally sourced products and services?  Should you boycott Amazon, Wal-mart and other megacorps?

Why do many American's devalue the teaching profession?  How can teachers possibly address the wide range of student needs in our society? 

The "Pieces" talk about income and wealth inequality.  Lance is as liberal as ever and Matt can't resist sprinkling in unecessarry interruptions and jokes.  It's a classic POS Podcast.   

What new habits will humans adopt as society becomes more isolationist and lonely?  The "pieces" think sex dolls will be the new craze.  Why deal with the burdens of a human sexual partner when you can easily program your sex doll to fulfill your weird sexual fantasies?

Why don't schools teach kids about money?  The "pieces" discuss whether personal finance should become part of the core curriculum in secondary schools.  Lance thinks the current lack of interest in financial education is possibly a conspiracy.  Matt wonders whether people would make the same stupid money mistakes even if schools taught them personal finance.

Matt and Lance discuss their views and personal interactions with homeless people.  Both agree that seeing other people suffer is a form of suffering albeit to a much lesser extent.  How dare these homeless people make us feel guilty and sad?  How dare they challenge us to figure out whether to give or what to give?

Once again Matt and Lance are pieces.  This time they justify their choice to dress poorly while critizing others.  

Matt and Lance restart the same podcast under a new name.  Matt shows up to record the show in an actual state of irritiability and Lance is forced to confront him.  It's a weird and maybe useless conversation.  This inaugural episode is true to the name of the show.
