Show Notes
Portland Public Schools Right to Return program, aimed at relocating students from outer East Portland to North and Northeast Portland schools, received only eight applications this year, accepting all. Despite initial hopes for fifty to one hundred students, enrollment has been disappointingly low due to weak promotion, transportation issues, and lack of awareness. Board members, however, remain committed to the program, believing it will strengthen Albinas school community and provide families with a sense of belonging.
