Voice actor Eugene Mirman, known for his role as Gene Belcher in Bobs Burgers, was involved in a serious car crash in New Hampshire. Driving a new Lucid Gravity SUV, he collided with a concrete structure at the Bedford Toll Plaza, causing the car to catch fire. Mirman, who lives in Massachusetts, was rushed to Elliot Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Governor Kelly Ayotte and her security detail, along with bystanders, rescued Mirman from the burning vehicle. Mirman has voiced Gene for all sixteen seasons of Bobs Burgers, which has won two Primetime Emmys. The toll plaza is undergoing a $16 million upgrade to an all-electric system to prevent future crashes.
