A piece of the Eiffel Towers original spiral staircase, dating back to 1889, is up for auction in Paris on May 21st. This 14-step iron staircase, once connecting the towers second and third floors, is estimated to sell for $46,000 to $57,000. However, similar pieces have sold for much more.
