After being arrested in August 2023, former Youtube vlogger and mom-fluencer Ruby Franke has pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse. The case centers around Franke’s and vlogging partner Jodi Hildebrant’s controversial Youtube channels, 8passengers and ConneXions, which have since been deleted. In this episode, Kiki is joined by journalist Shannon Hill, of Shannon Hill News, to discuss the details of the case and ponder what needs to happen in order to protect children featured in online content.
