A once in 200 year flooding event, precipitated by an atmospheric river, has devastated the province. We're losing track of how many disasters we've had in the past couple years. You'd think this would mean our politicians would have found a coherent strategy to respond to the crisis.

And amid the flooding the NDP have introduced a series of new pieces of legislation.
