In a tweet earlier this week, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy referred to COVID-19 as the "Chinese coronavirus." He said he stands by that wording despite the backlash. Congresswoman Judy Chu tells POLITICO's Jeremy Siegel why she thinks the tweet is xenophobic and dangerous.
