In a strange and surreal segment, we call Angry Stephanie while she's out to dinner with Ken Scalir and other wacky people, and a huge scene ensues. EIn this action-packed, lenghty show, we've got plenty of humor, fighting, and abstract craziness, but only a little real poker content. We play clips of Jennifer Harman's terrible new TLC reality series, which starts on December 9. Chico Loco, now working for the Mexican Western Union office of Nueva Huerta, calls up a California gambler who attempted to use Western Union to send $30 in gambling funds to a friend. "Muck Ficon" calls in, and antagonizes "limitles" to call into radio for the first time. The two of them fiercely argue, while limitles explains about his time in rehab. We call Teddy "The Iceman" Monroe, who gives us an update about his life, and Chico Loco joins the conversation to pitch an idea for a charity tournament featuring gang members. Druff gives a brief rundown of the Reid/Kyl online poker legalization bill, and discusses some flaws that have recently been identified. We talk about a "party train" that is likely to run in 2014 between southern California and Las Vegas. Druff shares his final thoughts about last week's Chad Elie interview. We talk about the Full Tilt points situation and whether the DOJ should pay us for them. Jewdonk and badguy23 call in, are put on the phone together, and zaniness ensues. We call up a party line and attempt to hook up. This episode had some technical failures, and might "skip" in a few places.

Druff does this show solo, as Drexel is MIA. Druff goes over the recent PPA statement about their meeting with the DOJ, regarding the delay of return of Full Tilt money to US players. Update is given on the state of LTE Poker. Druff shares his thoughts about the timetable for both the Full Tilt money return and legalization of online poker in the US. The rise and fall of Jeff Madsen is discussed, including his newest effort to become a poker coach. Druff touches a bit on the bwin/Party CEO being arrested in Belgium, and the recent trend of European countries demanding their piece of the online poker pie. Druff plays a funny voicemail from badguy23, received on election night. The scheduled interview with payment processor Chad Elie has been delayed until either next week or for a special show later this week.

We talk about the WSOP Final Table with 3 players left, giving updates is it progresses. We analyze the decision by Merge to end player-to-player transfers, and what that means for the future. We give an update on the Cantor Gaming Sportsbook Director arrest from last week, and talk about an interesting female defendant in the case. Druff gives his opinion on the partnership between Zynga and Bwin/Party. We talk about the One Drop Tournament being renewed, but having its buyin reduced to $1,111 for 2013. Marisa, one of the girls who spent the weekend with Ken Scalir and Stephanie in Las Veags, gives a short interview. We ambush Stephanie for more commentary on the situation, and the initially-hostile conversation turns surprisingly friendly and then hostile again. Brandon is revealed to be a "nose breather". We talk a bit about the upcoming Presidential election, as well as the Lakers' first-game fail.
Druff & Drexel Show - 10/24/2012 - Sweeps, Stephanie, Scalir, Scallops, Sex, and Single Moms
EWe play and mock clips of the terrible new poker reality show "teaser" featuring Johnny Chan. Update on Venetian robbery report and chip-cashing troubles of last week. We talk a little about the recent troubles at Party Poker where players are spontaneously switching to become one another. Breaking news about the Cantor Gaming sportsbook director arrest is given, and Druff shares his own anecdote regarding Pinnacle Sports, which is related to the recent arrests. Ken Scalir calls in to talk about his horror story involving a problematic trip to Vegas, which included two single moms, violence at the hands of friend Stephanie, a thrown wine glass in the Paris hotel, and lots of other fail. We also called Stephanie afterwards to get her commentary. Badguy23 calls in and makes peace with Drexel. Druff and Drexel address rumors that they were "together at the same place" with a former site's business partners over the weekend. A short "pre-show" took place beforehand by Drexel, which is also archived separately in this thread. Note that there is a small "hiccup" around the 2-minute mark where about a minute of the show got lost. The rest of the episode proceeded normally.

Alvin Finklestein calls up the Venetian to report that his elderly clients, Mordecai and Mimsy, are now afraid of cashing in their sole $500 chip at the casino. Hollywood insider Dave Lerman tells us about recently attending Madonna's daughter's 16th birthday party atop the Stratosphere, and his embarrassing experience in front of Madonna. Forum legend Wiz calls in to report cashout issues at Lock Poker. We discuss Phil Ivey's $11 million win at a British casino, and their refusal to pay him. Druff talks about the liquidation of defunct Purple Lounge Poker, and a group forming of disgruntled players to fight getting screwed. Druff attempts to call the man rumored to have caused the suicide of 15-year-old Amanda Todd, but gets a woman on the phone who may or may not have been related to him. badguy23 and rawwolf/Slim T debate with Druff as to what he really reached on that phone call. We discuss the potential fine of $25,000 per poached player regarding Black Chip Poker and other Merge skins. We have a long conversation with Ken Scalir and his angry friend Stephanie. Rawwolf/Slim T calls in while Ken is on the phone, and is remarkably subdued. Druff gives an update on the gutshot.com scam, and also talks about a high limit account being hacked on Lock Poker. This show suffered from some sound issues while it played live, but all of them have been cleaned up for the archives, so you might want to listen if you missed some things during the live show.

EDruff analyzes Hour #1 of the Howard Lederer Pokernews interview, clip by clip. Russian player "Gnuborg" calls in with the help of a translator to tell us about 888.com cheating him via an unfair money seizure since February. Alvin Finklestein finally reaches "Nene", a really large girl who was involved in a dinner bill scam against Ken Scalir. Onestep calls in but demands money to talk about his gay sex life. Druff did this show solo tonight, as Drexel was unavailable and Vwls has taken a family-related leave-of-absence from the program. This was a relatively short (2 1/2 hour) but action-packed show.

EDruff does this show solo. He talks about the Partouche Poker Tour scam & gives his reaction to the statement by owner Patrick Partouche. Caesar's possibly selling the WSOP is discussed. Daniel Negreanu's comments are covered, regarding Mason Malmuth's treatment of the 22Q Foundation Ironman Podcast. Druff analyzes the latest Howard Lederer legal defense, and talks about the current status of the AP/UB potential sale. The state of online poker in Nevada is discussed, including the South Point and new licensee Stratosphere. 408Mike gives an interview about his tumultuous life. PFA "Best Poster" winner Crowe Diddly makes an appearance on radio and answers some questions about himself. "Action" calls in, and talks about the difficulties of playing live limit hold 'em for a living in Vegas these days. Michael Phelps' supposed 100k win at Caesar's Las Vegas is touched upon. Drexel and Vwls will return next week.
The Drexel Show - 08/28/2012
EDrexel does his own solo show for a few hours after Druff has to cut out early from the Druff, Drexel, and Vwls show. He talks about his recent trip to California, including craziness the went on at Venice beach and his experience at Disneyland for the first time. Slim T called in to say he enjoyed the show. After some back and forth, both decided to move past all the drama and let it go. Jasep came on and talked about 22Q. Jasep, Drexel, OSA, Beebs9Dizzle, Sonatine, and Lewfather, called a sex store in Vegas and had a very candid interview with an employee named Jade. She revealed some of her sexual exploits and talked about the sex toy industry.

In this shortened show, Druff and Drexel talk about their recent pizza parlor "date". We warn players about three European poker sites that are apparently refusing to cash out players: PayNoRake.com, Gutshot.com, and Pokerhuis.com. We discuss the upcoming legalized US poker room to be run by the South Point Casino in Las Vegas. The situation regarding an obnoxious poker player who was unfairly disqualified while deep in a WPT event is discussed. We look at the situation where Jonathan Aguiar was attacked in a poker room by Matt Marafioti. The Best and Worst Poster on PFA Bracketgeek.com contest is announced. Vwls admits that she had a surprising dream about Druff. Drexel talks about his 22Q foundation charity radio show next week, with an amazing list of celebrity guests. A federal judge ruled that poker is a skill game in relation to an underground live casino bust, and Druff discusses whether that will impact online poker's legality. EDustin "Neverwin" Woolf makes a surprise appearance, and he calls in to let us know what happened to him and where he is now. Slim T, banned from the radio until he provides proof in the forum regarding his accusations against Brandon, demands airtime while in the chat and is finally given a few minutes to state his case. Brandon walks off the show in disgust of the situation. Druff talks about his WSOP Main Event performance thus far, and tells of his experience of playing a few hours with David Sklansky. We talk about the WSOP allegedly printing the wrong time of certain preliminary event tickets, as well as their false promotion of the 2012 WSOP having the "biggest prize pool ever". We talk about two Rio cash game follies -- a hand where two people get dealt the nut flush at the same time, as well as a terrible ruling where an angle shooter was allowed to "win" $5k of a casual player's money. Matt the Rat checks in to give an update on his WSOP and his ongoing problem with Getty Images trying to shake him down for money. We introduce our new "character", Treva, a white female cab driver, adopted by black parents, married to a man in the Aryan Nation. The Templar calls in to tell us about his work in recovering money for fellow PFA member ShadyJ, who was scammed by a guy on 2+2. Druff imitates Slim T, only to have the real Slim T and his "lawyer" Ryan call in. PFA user "John Stamos" is the contestant in our new game "Older or Younger Than Druff". We discuss Brad Booth allegedly scamming $28k from a well-respected online player. We talk about Erick Lindgren and the rumor that he will be declaring bankruptcy soon.
