Last year I had over 500,000 viewers without a dollar in paid promotion from one social media - Pinterest. After Google, Pinterest brings the most traffic to my website and podcast episodes, with the average visitor spending about 23 minutes looking at past episodes.
In this episode we’ll talk about why Pinterest is the best place to grow your podcast audience, how to properly market your podcast on Pinterest, and what you can do to incorporate Pinterest into your podcast workflow without feeling overwhelmed.
Why does Pinterest work? I think a lot of people think about Pinterest as the place where you plan a wedding, or save ideas for remodeling your kitchen, but the reality is pinterest has 553 million monthly active users and reaches 40% of US households with an annual income over $150K. I don’t know about you, but as a business owner, who uses their podcast to grow their business, those are the kind of stats I want to hear.
