We will look at two benefits that come out of loving Jesus and the Word of God. The first is the practical application of holiness that's called sanctification. And the second is how the Word of God and the Holy Spirit direct our lives so that we can live pleasing to the Lord.

How the Word of God is essential to living a genuine Christian life is the focus of this series. In this lesson, we will study a couple of practical ways the Word of God benefits believers. One is how the Scriptures build the faith of Christ's followers and another is how it brings stability to the life.

This lesson is focused on how understanding and living out what the Scriptures teach are essential for obtaining salvation and spiritual maturity. The truth of God's Word teaches us everything we need to live a life that's pleasing to God. This is a very practical teaching on how to mature in our walk with Jesus.

As we continue examining what the Scriptures say about the Word of God, we will begin delving into the benefits it gives to believers. The Bible reveals to us the personhood of God and that we are able to know Him in a real and tangible way. This is just one of the wonderful truths about God that the Word of God reveals to us and it also shows us the awesome benefits the Word gives to those who are lovers of God.

In lesson 2 in our series on The Word of God we will look at some basic truths about the infallibility and reliability of the written Word. God hasn't left this to chance; He has made the way that we can know His Word so we can know Him Who Lives Forever. He has given us His very words so that we can know and love Him--the One and Only God.

This begins a new series titled, "The Word of God." In this lesson we will lay out some foundational thoughts about the Word of God, which is a title that refers to both the Bible and to Jesus. We are to be a people that know Jesus as our Lord and Savior and who knows the Holy Scriptures that reveals to us who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and He will do in the future.

In this final lesson in our series on Love we will examine Paul's closing thoughts to First Corinthians 13. This is where we will see what constitutes the hope of eternal life, and it's glorious. Don't miss this soul-stirring lesson.

This lesson on love will look at how agape love will endure throughout eternity. Now is the time we are to be learning how to love selflessly like Jesus. The Lord offers us all the grace we need to love more like Him, for we can't do this through our own strength and wisdom.

In this lesson in our series on love we will study two character traits of love that are found in 1 Corinthians 13. The first is that love does not keep a record of wrongs and the second is that love does not rejoice over evil. This is a good lesson.

In this lesson we will study two characteristics of the God-kind-of-love we are commanded to live out. And this comes from 1 Corinthians chapter 13, verse 5. The first is that love is not self-seeking and the second is that those who love don't get angry. This lesson might shake you up a bit.

In part 5 in our series on Love, we will study four character traits of love, all of which are stated by Paul in the negative. At times it can be easier to define something by stating what it isn't, rather than what it is. The four character traits are that love does not envy, does not boast, is not proud and is not rude. We all need to listen to this lesson on true love and put it into practice.

In part 4 in our series on love we will finish looking at what love is not and then begin looking at what love is. The text we are focusing upon is 1 Corinthians 13, verses two through four.

This short Christmas devotion is about how there is true and lasting joy in Jesus, even though at times we must deal with pain and suffering.

Love is the topic of this series we are in. First Corinthians 13 is the primary focus of this study, but we took some time to look at 1 Timothy chapter one, verse 5 that presents three important components of love, which is a pure heart, a good or clean conscience and sincere faith. We then returned to 1 Corinthians 13 to start digging into verse 2. This is an excellent teaching on love.

This lesson in our series on love will be an examination of verse one of First Corinthians 13, where we will learn what love is not.

This begins a short teaching series on love. The focus of this lesson is to show that Jesus is the only true and faithful standard of what it means to love. Because we don't naturally have the power to love like Jesus we need His grace and power to love more like Him.

In this series on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit we have been looking at what it means to be a presence driven church and people. This is the third lesson that touches on this subject that helps us understand what it means to be a Spirit-filled follower of Jesus.

In this series on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit I started in our last lesson looking at what it means to be a presence driven believer and to be part of a presence driven church. In this lesson we will see that the presence driven church is the New Testament model that should define the church in all ages and cultures. This is a very important lesson, so don't miss it.

In this series on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit we will look at the thought that the church is to be presence driven. This simply means that we are to be defined and led by the Holy Spirit and as such, we should have a life in the Spirit that is powerful and fulfilling.

We are now getting into the doctrine of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, which is part of our study on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. We desperately need the power of Pentecost in the true church throughout our nation and world. This lesson will help you understand the sound Biblical teaching on this truth.

Continuing in our study on the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit we have returned to the subject of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. We will see how a spiritual hunger after God is an integral part of receiving the wonderful gift of the Spirit baptism.

Isaiah 61, verse 4 is the focus of this lesson. It's short and sweet and to the point on our need to have compassion for those who don't know Christ.
