राजगृहं गच्छन् कश्चन मुनिं अपृच्छत्, किमर्थं भवान् धर्मं बोधयति चेदपि लोके धर्मः न दृश्यते इति । मुनिः अवदत् । राजगृहम् इतः 20 किलोमीटर् दूरे अस्ति इति भवान् जानाति । परन्तु प्रवृत्तिं विना तत्र गन्तुं न शक्नोति । धर्मस्यापि एषा एव व्यवस्था इति ।
A sage tells a disillusioned man, "Just as you must take steps to reach the palace 20 km away, effort is required to achieve goodness in life, it won't come automatically."
