शान्तिप्राप्तेः मार्गः

शान्तियुतं जीवनं कर्तुम् इच्छन् राजा शान्तियुतजीवनस्य मार्गं ज्ञात्वा आगच्छन्तु इति भटान् प्रेषयति । कञ्चन तेजस्विनं सन्यासिनं दृष्ट्वा अपेक्षायाम् उक्तायां 'शान्तिमार्गः अन्तरङ्गे भवति' इति संन्यासी वदति । परन्तु राजा स्वयमेव आगत्य विनयेन वचनस्य तात्पर्यं पृच्छति । तदा शान्तिमार्गस्य अन्वेषणम्, अन्तरङ्शोधनस्य सोपानानि इत्यादीनि विस्तरेण विवृणोति संन्यासी ।

Desiring to live a peaceful life, the king, sent soldiers to find a path from great souls. Upon meeting a radiant sage, the king’s messenger inquired about the king’s wish. The sage replied, "The path to peace lies within the heart." However, the king himself went to the sage and, with humility, when inquired about the inner meaning, the sage then explained in detail how to seek the path of peace and necessary steps for inner purification.
