जनादरपात्रता कथम्?

कश्चन राजा महाकोपशीलः आसीत् । तस्य मन्त्री सुबुद्धिः तु शासनदक्षः । एकदा राज्ञः मूर्तिप्रतिष्ठायाः विचारो अभवत् किन्तु सुबुद्धिः तं विचारं न अन्वमन्यत । प्रजोपकारकं कार्यं करणीयमिति तस्य मतमासीत् । राजा कुपितः तं मन्त्रिस्थानात् निष्कास्य क्षामग्रस्तं प्रदेशं प्रति प्रेषितवान् । सुबुद्धिना तत्र जनहिताय कासारनिर्माणादिकं कृतम्, येन जनसमृद्धिः जाता। अन्ते राजा जनप्रियस्य सुबुद्धेः कार्यदक्षतायाः प्रशंसा कृत्वा तं पुनः मन्त्रिस्थाने प्रतिष्ठापितवान् ।

One of the kings was Mahakopshila. His ministry is a Subudhhi. Once upon a time, a king had an idea of idolatry, and subudhhi did not accept the idea. He believed that we should do good work. The king was angry and removed him from his post and sent him to a famine-stricken region. subuddhi ordered the construction of a fort there for the public, which led to an increase in population. Finally, the king praised the performance of the popular sage and reinstated him in the ministry.
