काचन वृद्धा गृहस्य पार्श्वे स्थितस्य कूपस्य जलम् आनीय दैनन्दिनकार्याणि निर्वर्तयति स्म । भैरवनामा कश्चन दुष्टः वृद्धायाः कूपः मदीयः इति प्रतिपादयन् तस्य उपयोगम् आरब्धवान् । खिन्नया वृद्धया राज्ञि निवेदिते कथं राजा चातुर्येण न्यायनिर्णयं करोति इति शृणुमः । तेनैव राज्ञा रणजितसिंहेन अमृतसरसि सुवर्णालयः निर्मितः ।

There was a well near an old woman’s house. She used the water from the well to carry out her daily tasks. A wicked man named Bhairav claimed that the well belonged to him and started using it. The troubled old woman informed the king, and we will listen to the story of how the king, with his wisdom, made a just decision. This is the king, Ranajit Singh, who built the Golden Temple at Amritsar.
