कस्यचन विद्याकेन्द्रे ज्योतिष-वैद्यकीय—शिल्पशास्त्रादयः जीवनोपयोगिन्यः विद्याः प्राधान्येन अध्याप्यन्ते स्म । देशस्य नानाकोणेभ्यः विदेशेभ्यः च अध्ययनोत्सुकाः तत् विद्याकेन्द्रं प्रति आयान्ति स्म । कदाचित् तं विद्याकेन्द्रं द्रष्टुम् आगतेन केनचित् महात्मना दिनद्वयं स्थित्वा सर्वा व्यवस्था परिशीलिता । सः यदा प्रस्थातुम् उद्यतः तदा तस्य विद्याकेन्द्रस्य प्राचार्यः तस्य अभिप्रायम् अपृच्छत् । तदा महात्मा अवदत् 'अत्र यथा सम्पादनमार्गाः बोध्यन्ते तथैव गुणवृद्धिमार्गः अपि बोधनीयः, आचारेण दर्शनीयः, वृत्तिमतां व्यवहारे ते गुणाः यथा दृष्येरन् तथा प्रयासः करणीयः च‘ इति । सूक्ष्मतया अवलोक्य अपेक्षितं परिष्कारम् उक्तवते महात्मने प्राचार्यः धन्यवादान् समर्पितवान् ।

A learning center taught practical sciences like astrology, medicine, and engineering, attracting students from across the country and abroad. A sage visited, observed for two days, and when asked for his opinion, said: “Along with teaching methods of knowledge, ways of cultivating virtues must also be taught and shown through conduct, so that they are reflected in the behavior of the learned”. The principal thanked him for his valuable advice.
