वृक्षस्य चक्रवर्तित्वम्

कदाचित् मार्गे गच्छता गुरुणा कस्यचित् महावृक्षस्य मनोवृत्तिं ज्ञात्वा 'तथास्तु' इति उक्तम् । सा मनोवृत्तिः का इति शिष्येण पृष्टे, गुरुः अवदत् 'चक्रवर्तीं भूत्वा भूमण्डलं परिपालनीयम्' इति । तत् श्रुतवतः शिष्यस्य हासं दृष्ट्वा गुरुः वदति यदि भगवतः सङ्कल्पः स्यात् तर्हि लोके असाध्यं किमपि नास्ति इति । किं तस्य वृक्षस्य मनोवृत्तिः परिपूर्णा भवेत् ? गुरोः आशीर्वादः सफलः किं भवेत् ? सर्वं जानन्तु कथां श्रुत्वा ।
