'पुत्रस्य मस्तिष्कस्य चिकित्सार्थं प्रभूतं धनम् अपेक्षितम् । कश्चन चमत्कारः एव पुत्रं रक्षितुं शक्नोति' इति पितुः वचनं श्रुत्वा काचन अष्टवर्षीया पुत्री एकस्मिन् करण्डके स्थापितानि नाणकानि स्वीकृत्य अनुजस्य कृते चमत्कारं क्रेतुम् औषधापणम् अगच्छत् । तत्रैव स्थितः कश्चन बालिकया सह सम्भषणं कृत्वा ज्ञातवान् यत् तस्याः अनुजाय शस्त्रक्रिया आवश्यकी इति । सः आसीत् विख्यातः मस्तिष्कशल्यक्रियाविशारदः । शीघ्रमेव सः बालस्य शस्त्रक्रियां निश्शुल्कं कृत्वा प्राणान् रक्षितवान् ।

Hearing her father say that a miracle was needed to save her younger brother, an eight-year-old girl took the coins stored in a box and went to a pharmacy to buy a miracle. There, she unknowingly spoke to a renowned neurosurgeon, who learned that her brother required brain surgery. Moved by her innocence, he performed the operation free of charge and saved the boy’s life.
