ساله صغيرة في تهذيب النفس والتفريق بين السعادة بمعناها الظاهري والسعادة بمفهومها الروحاني، حسب الرؤية القريبة من الصوفية للمؤلف الإمام أبوحامد الغزالي، الملقب بحجة الإسلام. ويؤكد الغزالي على أفكار كثيرة ومفاهيم روحانية فيرى أن من رحمه الله تعالى بعباده، أن أرسل إليهم الأنبياء والرسل؟ فيعلموهم " كيمياء السعادة" ليطهروا أنفسهم من الأخلاق المذمومة، ويتوجهوا إلى طرق الصفاء وذلك باجتناب الرذائل وتزكية النفس، واكتساب الفضائل.
