Show Notes

Luvvie Ajayi Jones is one of those rare humans who have the words, energy, and power to invite you into seeing the world -- and yourself in a new way. She is a sought-after speaker and podcast host who thrives at the intersection of comedy, technology, and justice. Luvvie also happens to be the author of the New York Times bestseller, “I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual,” and is currently working on her second book, “PROFESSIONAL TROUBLEMAKER: The Fear-Fighter Manual,” which will be released in March 2021.

In this episode, Luvvie talks to me about her moving from Nigeria to the US at a young age and her journey of both fitting in and standing out. In this episode, we talk about a painful failure that led Luvvie to find her voice in blogging, dating all the way back to 2003, and how finally owning the title ‘writer’ opened up doors for her.
