Show Notes
On Sunday, March 15th, Pastor Todd began a new sermon series. This series will take us through the pages of the Gospel of Luke. In this first sermon, we took a look at Luke 1:1-25. The title of this sermon is "When God Breaks the Silence." Have you ever experienced a time in your life when you felt that God was silent? As today's text begins, there had been an approximate 400 year period where no Scripture had been recorded and no canonical prophetic word had been recorded. It began after the ministry of Malachi, our last Old Testament prophet. This 400 year period ended with the announcement that John the Baptist would be born. In this sermon, Pastor Todd reminds the listener, that although God may seem to be silent, He is often working behind the scenes and is preparing us for something.
