Join us as Pastor Todd begins a new sermon series - a six week series that will take us through the book of 2 Peter. Today's text was 2 Peter 1:1-11. Pastor Todd explained that Peter had three primary purposes when he wrote this letter that we now know as the book of 2 Peter. One of the purposes was to tell us about the dangers of false teachers. Another purpose was to remind us that our faith in Jesus Christ should never become stale. Finally, Peter wrote to encourage believers and to remind them that Jesus is indeed coming back again! In this first sermon of this series, we took a look at some characteristics that are to be on display in the life of each true follower of Jesus Christ.
