For a team that is desperate to find some certainty on its roster, opening up a spot on the team - the closer role - once again is a dangerous proposition. Bradfo points out that this was part of the 2023 roster Chaim Bloom got right, so Craig Breslow shouldn't be so quick to forget that lesson.
