Cindy was just a regular person on a regular Standard American Diet, living a quiet sedentary lifestyle. One based on frozen dinners and pre-packaged meals, along with sodas and sugary snacks, though she did try a ‘clean keto’ diet on and off. Except one day, something happened that changed everything.

 

She had a sudden massive heart attack.

 

After a ride in the ambulance and an immediate operation, Cindy knew her diet and lifestyle had to change. So that is what started her eventually looking into plant-based eating and then making the decision to start a whole food plant-based diet.
