Vanity is the love of the tone of our own voice and beyond that, in silence, the sound of our own choice of thoughts and the consequent emotions or feelings. The problem with this Shadow is that the personal power this brings you, also develops a fear of loosing this power if we're to ever open our hearts to love another one.
