Self-Obsession is exactly the opposite of what it appears to be: we are unable to recognize others as individuals because we keep projecting our personality into the future, this puts us in the middle of a room of mirrors where we keep chastising the reflections instead of looking at the source of the projection in the present—the other is not a reflection, is literally us.
