Both clubs remain winless, but the situation feels more troublesome at Southampton following their defeat at Manchester United and despite averaging a whopping 62% possession so far, they have only scored once. Ipswich have two points more following draws with Fulham and Brighton and now have an outstanding long-term fixture run on the horizon where they will hope to rise up the table. An Oasis of joy for Erling Haaland Captainers and Triple Captainers as the big man took home the match ball on Saturday and he wasn't the only hat-trick scorer this weekend as Noni Madueke also hit a treble - all assisted by cold Cole Palmer - as The Blues scored six at Wolves. The Planet FPL Gameweek Review returns as Suj and James discuss the nind games played so far in Gameweek 1 and it was a great weekend for many who attacked the opening weekend fixtures as several top players returned well and clean sheets were on the rise with Arsenal, Liverpool, the Manchester clubs and Newcastle all managing to keep out their opponents. Clayton and James take a deep dive into captaincy over the opening 10 Gameweeks of the season to determine the premium players wanted and needed for the opening weeks of the new season; before moving on in the latter part of the Podcast to a discussion on rotation options. The Haaland vs Salah debate continues, with the case made for both players, the difficulty in having both, the importance of the number 36, when it'll be time to hide behind the sofa and which of the players priced 8.5-10.5 stands up as being one that may well be wanted more often than FPL managers may expect for captaincy.
