Zig Ziglar (November 6, 1926 – November 28, 2012), the legendary motivational speaker, inspired over 250 million people with exhortations to be positive and goal-oriented in order to achieve success through focused work; his message was disseminated through speeches at corporate retreats, sales seminars, and public events as well as through more than 40 plus books, recordings, and podcasts. Ziglar began working as a salesman in the mid-1940s and by the 1950s was giving sales-training talks; in about 1970 he launched his own company to offer training in sales, business, and personal development.
In this episode, we revisit the life and times of Zig Ziglar through the words of his son, Tom Ziglar who continues Zig's legacy as the CEO of Ziglar, Inc.
