Hi everyone! In this episode, we talk about growing up religious and how purity culture affected both of us growing up. We discuss the villainization of the human body, the Puritan history of America, Christian's obsession with purity and heteronormativity. We go over a range of topics from who difficult it is to dismantle what we're taught when we're young (no matter what it is) to Christians against drag shows, to why people need religion. (TRIGGER WARNING) Some topics of self h*rm are mentioned late in the episode. This one gets deep y'all!!
