Supergirl kicks off this season’s theme “The Old Men and DC,” where we are taking on six superhero-themed movies inspired by the pages of DC comics. In this episode, we take to the skies with Superman’s cousin to do battle with an evil witch who is determined to take over the world and make a hunky landscaper her sex slave.
This movie stars Helen Slater as the title character alongside such Hollywood royalty as Faye Dunaway, Peter O’Toole and Mia Farrow for about sixty seconds. There’s invisible demons, love potions and lots of Popeye’s World Famous Chicken and Biscuits. This movie is truly bonkers.
