Sixers make ANOTHER comeback but fall short for 1st loss in THRILLER
The Philadelphia 76ers put up another fight but are undefeated no more as the Boston Celtics visit Philadelphia on Halloween, defeating the Sixers 109-108 in another hard-fought game. Boston led by as many as 24 points only to have the 76ers trim the lead to one late in the fourth quarter.

The Philadelphia 76ers put up another fight but are undefeated no more as the Boston Celtics visit Philadelphia on Halloween, defeating the Sixers 109-108 in another hard-fought game. Boston led by as many as 24 points only to have the 76ers trim the lead to one late in the fourth quarter. But, Jaylen Brown (game-high 32 points) and company were just too much as they won their third row and snapped Philadelphia's win streak. Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 26, 14 assists + eight rebounds, Joel Embiid added 20 in a season-high 25 minutes, Kelly Oubre Jr. and VJ Edgecombe finished with 17 each. Philadelphia is now 4-1 on the season and hits the road for a 3-game road trip beginning with the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
