The Philadelphia 76ers return home to defeat the New York Knicks, 125-114, in Game 3 — series now stands at 2-1. Joel Embiid scored a playoff career-high 50 points to push the Sixers to their first win of the series, setting up a huge game 4 on Sunday. Embiid scored 18 of his game-best 50 in the third quarter and went a perfect 4 for 4 in the frame. Tyrese Maxey added 25 and seven assists, Kelly Oubre chipped in 15 with seven rebounds in his best offensive game of the series and Cam Payne provided a spark off the bench with 11 points in 16 minutes.
