Postgame 4/5: This time, it really will be a turning point

They couldn't get it done in regulation, meaning despite beating the Boston Bruins for the frst time this season, a completion of the back-to-back, home-and-home sweep on Tuesday night will only result in the Philadelphia Flyers still trailing the B's by a point in the East division standings for the last playoff spot. But, the orange and black did come back from a 2-1 third period deficit to tie the game on a Sean Couturier power play goal, and then win it in overtime when Travis Sanheim blocked an ill-advised Patrice Bergeron shot from high in the zone then took it the other way for the OT winner, thanks to an assist from Bergeron blowing a tire. The Flyers still have a lot to prove before anyone is willing to call them a deserving playoff team, or deadline buyers, but at least for one night they showed us a little something against a team not named the Buffalo Sabres.
