This was as low-event as a game could be in terms of highlights. Nic Deslauriers’ first period fight was the only thing that registered as a Philadelphia “highlight” in the opening 40 minutes. Sam Ersson battled through a sleepy game with a solid-enough outing against the Lightning, but with no help from Trevor Zegras, Matvei Michkov or Tyson Foerster, this was one of those games that brings Orange & Black expectations down to earth.
