The USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the Peristyle Podcast's basketball-focused podcast -- returns with co-hosts Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) breaking down the offseason for the USC men's program that has a complete face lift for the second time in as many seasons under head coach Eric Musselman.

The podcasting duo talk with one of the 11 newcomers on the roster as star guard Rodney Rice discusses his decision to make the move from the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area to Southern California when he transferred from Maryland to USC. Rice chats on learning about his new teammates and how things are going through the first couple of summer practices.

Rice also talks about playing under Musselman and what makes him a unique coach to play for. The 6-foot-4 guard, who averaged 13.8 points per game last season with the Terrapins, discusses his transition to the point guard position and what he sees his leadership role as this season.

After a break, Shotgun and Connor look at how the roster has come together this offseason and debate where strengths and weaknesses may lie for the 2025-26 season for the Trojans.
