In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio talking about the biggest Trojan football contest to date, a trip to Ann Arbor to face No. 18 Michigan in the Big House. This will be the first ever Big Ten conference game for No. 11 USC and while not a lot of people gave the Trojans a chance in this one, the Men of Troy are now nearly a touchdown favorite over the boys in blue.
The guys will also talk about USC coming out of its bye week with updates from Lincoln Riley's appearance on Trojans Live and after Tuesday's practice. The Trojans have been relatively healthy and they will update the injury situation, discuss USC's place in the Big Ten hierarchy and the tremendous opportunity the Trojans have to get a win against the defending national champion in the Big House. With USC checking is as a 6-point favorite in the game, the guys talk about what challenges Michigan can pose with starting quarterback Davis Warren benched for Alex Orji and a Wolverine defense stacked with future NFL talent.
They also discuss the breaking news that the Trojans picked up a major class of 2025 commitment in five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.
