Show Notes
In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast host Ryan Abraham is joined by Shotgun Spratling talking about the very disappointing end to USC's football season, a 46-45 loss to the Tulane Green Wave in the 87th Cotton Bowl Classic. For the second time in the brief Lincoln Riley era USC lost a football game that it controlled throughout and never trailed until the final seconds of the fourth quarter. The Trojans were up 45-30 with just over four minutes left, had 13 more first downs, controlled the ball for nearly 40 minutes, never punted, never turned it over on downs, had Caleb Williams throw for 462 yards and five touchdowns, generated four sacks on defense and only allowed eight completions and still lost.
